On Air Lectures

Another job fo Nile University channel I did in Maspiro. it's a promo for a TV show called "On Air Lectures" I did it in Flash. and I it's not that good, I didn't gave it much effort. I guess it's my new teaching job in Menia.

I Won Somthing

My brother submitted websites we created in the Egypt Web Awards 2009 contest. and he won a gold, and I won a Silver, but in different categories. the website I won with was Aroma Creatives that I developed back when I was working in Aroma. I've always known it worth something. the funny thing is that I quitted web development and left Aroma right after I finished it.

Nile Comedy

Nile Comedy is a new channel that will be lunched sooner on Nile Television Network. as for the channel brand idents.. it was outsourced to different agencies outside Maspiro. the funny thing is that one of the studios working on the channel bumpers was Zam Zam Animation! and I did those bumpers as a freelance for Zam Zam!! I was just an animator on this. the artwork and character designs were done by a caricature artist working with Zam Zam called "Yaser". I used Adobe Flash CS3 in this job, I thought it's time to start accepting that Macromedia is no more.

Teaching Animation!

I've got a job as an assistant animation teacher. and guess where.. I'll teach animation at Menia University, the Fine Art college, the animation department. the very place that I've graduated from!

This is a huge step in my life. I'm going to prepare for Master degree in animation then go for PHD.. going back to the traveling life, back and forth between Cairo and Menia. new people, new activities and a new career.

It is a whole new life plan! the thing is.. I didn't even planed it!! it just happened. it's the one opportunity that I couldn't refuse. of course it's a good thing. but I'm tired of changeovers. I don't know where this will take me, but I'm going for it anyway.

At least I have a friend "Sabry" he is working as an assistant teacher there for a year now. we'll be traveling together like old days. this will start next February, I hope it's going to be fine.
