Nile Comedy

Nile Comedy is a new channel that will be lunched sooner on Nile Television Network. as for the channel brand idents.. it was outsourced to different agencies outside Maspiro. the funny thing is that one of the studios working on the channel bumpers was Zam Zam Animation! and I did those bumpers as a freelance for Zam Zam!! I was just an animator on this. the artwork and character designs were done by a caricature artist working with Zam Zam called "Yaser". I used Adobe Flash CS3 in this job, I thought it's time to start accepting that Macromedia is no more.

Teaching Animation!

I've got a job as an assistant animation teacher. and guess where.. I'll teach animation at Menia University, the Fine Art college, the animation department. the very place that I've graduated from!

This is a huge step in my life. I'm going to prepare for Master degree in animation then go for PHD.. going back to the traveling life, back and forth between Cairo and Menia. new people, new activities and a new career.

It is a whole new life plan! the thing is.. I didn't even planed it!! it just happened. it's the one opportunity that I couldn't refuse. of course it's a good thing. but I'm tired of changeovers. I don't know where this will take me, but I'm going for it anyway.

At least I have a friend "Sabry" he is working as an assistant teacher there for a year now. we'll be traveling together like old days. this will start next February, I hope it's going to be fine.

Dida Tales

This is a TV show package I did in Masoiro. the show called "Dida Tales" it was a children show, and it aired on Nile Family channel. I used Flash + Anime Studio + After Effect in this job.

These are the character sheets for the title sequence. they are the same as the marionettes of the show. I did the breakdown of the characters to use them in the bone rigging system of Anime studio, that worked nice with the marionette effect.

3 Tourism

Dr. Zainab Zamzam the CEO of "Zam Zam Animatin" offered me to co-produce an animated series called "3 Tourism" with her!!! this was like a whole new level for me. If this real.. I'm going to be a show creator. and actually started on the pre-production process. but it was all gone with the wind when we clashed on the financial level :(

These are the character designs of the unborn show, I think they were cool. the sketch was done in Manga Studio with Genius tablet.

And this was one of the first character designs for the same show, but I didn't like the style. it was done in Photoshop with Genius tablet.

Nile Education

Another channel branding job in Maspiro, it's for Nile Education channel. These are some samples of the animated idents. and it was rejected :(
